I’m big about making things your own and creating a wedding that has personality and also celebrates what the party is really about: loveconnection and joy. With that in mind, I hope you find this helpful.

  1. Don’t show your florist a picture of other artist’s work and ask for the exact same thing. Not only will your wedding lack originality, but you will also be missing the opportunity of having a creative artist doing something unique for your wedding.
  2. Don’t add elements to your wedding just because they are trendy. Signage, hangers, tabletops, and so on are all perfect choices, just make sure they match your likes, your style, and what your wedding is about.
  3. Don’t take too long to make decisions. Yes, some things are better to process and leave for later like the guests’ list, but don’t drag open items until the very end; this will only create unnecessary stress around your wedding.
  4. Don’t stress over the small stuff. We know it’s easier said than done, but if you think about it, you are truly in a beautiful position. You’re planning a party to honor the love you have for each other. So enjoy the process: it’s not always rainbows and butterflies, but you should find the way to make it an experience you remember joyfully.
